SmartRule Desktop Publishing Ruler-1 Same as Ruler 1 above (lower image) except ruler is printed and laminated in plastic rather than photographically imaged. Accuracy is slightly less.
Difference between Pro-Designer and Desktop Publishing Versions of the Microref SmartRule. The Pro-Designer model is identical in scales and tools to the Desktop Publishing model. The difference is in manufacturing. The ProDesigner is photographically exposed on polyester film. The film is highly durable but thinner than the Desktop Publishing Ruler. The Desktop Publishing Ruler is printed and and then laminated on a clear vinyl material. The Pro-Designer may be slightly more accurate measuring by the thousands of an inch.
